My Genogram

As I analyzed my family's career and education history, it became apparent to me that the role of the female has evolved. My grandmothers were both uneducated and housewives. My maternal grandmother, who I adored, was illiterate and later in life(after many of the children were grown) became a maid to help support my sugar cane field working grandfather. On the other hand, my sisters and I are career women, who balance care taking and full-time jobs. It was also interesting to see how the level of education has increased as the generations passed. The increase will continue into  my sons generation, as college is not optional, it is a necessary continuation of your education.
